SMYFC Club Secretary Required
A club secretary is required. At the AGM on the 3rd May there were no candidate's to take on the role from the outgoing secretary,The role was very kindly filled on a temporary basis by Mr B Bowles,His intention was to fill the role until Christmas 2011. This position within the football club urgently needs filling.Please contact SMYFC chairman Mr Merrick Smith on 07795 100829 or merrick@smyfc.co.uk to register an interest. A description of the role is below.
Secretary
Official contact between Club, County FA, Leagues that we are represented and other clubs.
Ensure club affiliation and league membership.
Ensure effective correspondence and communication.
Provide minutes of meetings for official club records.
To manage the day-to-day running of the Club, ensuring correspondence received is dealt with either directly or passed to the appropriate Operating Committee for action.
To ensure that all relevant information is passed on to all Managers
To prepare for monthly Management Committee meetings (venue, agenda etc) and to ensure that minutes of those meetings are taken and then sent out to all committee members.
To prepare notice and agenda for the AGM, ensuring information is issued to all club members and to receive any motions proposed for the AGM.
To contribute to the Clubs website and ensure it is maintained with appropriate information

GOALKEEPER TRAINING
NEW goalkeeping training session's have started, These sessions will be run by Paul Maitland,if you wish your child to take part, please contact your team manager.
