Jay is a strong and compact striker who loves to latch on to through balls
provided by his strike partner or the midfield and once with the ball at his
feet, is hard to push off the ball. He prefers to play as a lone striker but
is now learning to play as part of a partnership also and has shown that he
really suits this role by a superb volleyed goal in a pre-season friendly –
this could be the first of many.
